A warm welcome to this first newsletter from Adaptonics in 2025. –
11 years ago, the “Healing Garden” was founded. Since I had led a life full of change, I moved several times during that period, taking my garden with me. And now I am back here in Candelaria, where it all began. So it feels like a new beginning. –
The plot of land I recently acquired is 3,700 m² in size and is in a rather untouched state. The soil has been undisturbed for decades and is full of stones; you can still make out traces of former terraces. And this is exactly where Artemisia annua is now being planted again. –
When the light begins to noticeably increase again on February 2 with “Candlemas,” and the earth begins to awaken from its gentle winter sleep, the new seeds will be sown. The first seedlings will then be planted in April. For this to work, a great deal still needs to be done here. But that is another story... –
