Enthält Pine Pollen wirklich Testosteron?

Does pine pollen really contain testosterone?

What we see here is a flowering pine tree, also known as "Pino" or "pine tree." Around Easter, the pine releases large amounts of pollen. It can be collected very easily and used to make a delicious shake or tincture. I quote Stanford professor and health guru Andrew Huberman: "Pine pollen looks very much like Testosterone, in fact, it is Testosterone".

Huberman's provocative phrasing is catchy—and accurate insofar as testosterone and related steroids have in fact been detected in pine pollen (Saden-Krehula et al., 1971). The more interesting and so far unanswered question is: Does any of it get absorbed when taken orally? The amounts are small, and little research has been done on what the digestive tract does with it. That is precisely why we want to collect data here.
